For instance, her depth of the Blues and its extension into advanced music sweeping across the evocative hear-wrenching of ghosts of bold proclamination of the Gospel. Solitude of the Mind is one of the most wonderful experience of this world.
The most moving song in this regard is on the altar-cloth of Gospel, laid on the table of the Lord, sumptuously laid out for the Feast of the Eucharistic celebration over which Ms Claudine Myers’ B3 Hammond organ had been solemnly and blissfully overlaid. Then returning to the skies of the Mother World that the African-American musicians’ perception they brought over from the slave-ships of Gorèe in Africa.
There is the African Blues, Her Song for Mother, the sensuous and long-limbed harmonic conception that only a master instrumentalist can bring to her long game – the deliciously pianism, so impressively refined as in Twilight, Cairo and the gliding down of Beneath the Sun into the dark waters of the seas by the mother of Africa. It’s another one for the genius of Amina Claudine Myres so skillfully and effortlessly brought into the light of the world.
